Since none of you have mentioned it, there will be two new albums on September 30.

I think Prince is going to guide me through my half marathon on Sept 21. I was out last Sunday morning & got "I could never take the place of your man" stuck in my head for about 20min, the running was free & easy to say the least.

Prince wrote this song for The Time. It is R&B, so you can fuck to it if you want.

I'd actually forgotten that song. Not The Time's best album. (Not saying it's bad, but it's not their best.)

The only one I have is Ice Cream Castle, which is pretty good (if I recall, it's likely got 3 inches of dust on it by now). I wish I still had the Sheila E albums - I only had those on cassette & have no idea where all my material in that venerable format has gotten to.

I couldn't seem to find the original Prince "Batdance" video on youtube. Finally found it at http://essential.tv/post/view/556
It has been forever since I've seen this video. It is kind of cool how he ties the 60s Batman to the Michael Keyton movie.
Oh, and the look on Prince's face at 3:44 is awesome.
