you should write a book about that.. oh, wait, someone already did. i heard about it somewhere.

isn't the "robot deliveryman" thing basically what amazon wants to do with drones?

meanwhile i've been searching for shoes for two weeks now. went to four different stores on sunday alone. can't find a blasted pair i like, the selection is shit everywhere, and the same shit to boot. i spent hours on zappos last night and can't decide what i want. it's as if the store retailers are saying "since online retailers don't have the overhead of stores, they can put all their money into warehousing their enormous stock. we can only compete, then, by severely limiting our available stock to a scant few selections. that will work, right?"

i ended up finding the shoes for less at backcountry.com, and parlayed the savings into a pair of flip flops, which were also on sale! yay!

Strangely enough, I've purchased more shoes in the last 6 months than I have in the last few years. It's usually hard to find shoes I like, but I've been lucky lately and I've found them at good prices.
I found a pair of sketchers at Kohls I really liked but they were $80 (I'm a cheap old man when it comes to shoes), so I looked them up on amazon and ordered them standing in Kohls for $40. Right after submitting my order the saleswoman asked if she could help me with the ones I was looking at. I told her "no thanks, I just got 'em on amazon for half what you're asking" lol

Did we just set a record for going of topic that quick?

That is incorrect.

Watching Capt America: Winter Soldier at ANY time of day is "on".
"No Tom Foolery today, Ron. I'm tired of looking at your dreadful, speckled mug."
"Why do you hurt me in this way, Harry?"

Just out of curiosity, Jargo, who'd you rather? Cap or Bucky/Winter Soldier?

Agreed. I've checked for REASON as well, but it often resorts to "Reeve's Son", or the son of the Reeve who was kinda like a constable back in the olden days. That's of interest to me so I've latched on to it.
