Game of Thrones (HBO)

most tv sucks these days, but there are some shining examples of good writing, acting, camera work, etc... we call those Deadwood and Arrested Development. Family Guy sucks ass, though...

Moderators: Batman, Zero, John Madden, Bob Ross, General Zod, Richard Simmons

So...BIG episode and a lot happens. Some of it expected, some of it unexpected.

The 4th episode has leaked if you can't wait until Sunday. The link is streaming, but there is a bunch of pop ups.

Those hacking bastards! I would never ever watch anything like that. Back in 1 hour to explain further how wrong that is for them to do that.

You understand why the episode is a short 50 minutes in those last 10 minutes.

I flipped through it & got the jist, didn't listen to any dialogue. Pretty good cliffhanger.

Well we waited 6.5 years to see dragons blowing shit up, and I guess it was pretty cool. I'm interested in hearing just how badly she kneecapped their food supply with that attack, and exactly what it will mean for the larger Dany/Cersei war. I'm 100 percent sure Jaime's not gone just yet.

So Dragons rate much more chatter than the biggest revelation of the entire series, or so it seems.

Gilly reading to Sam in the Citadel library about Rhaegar having an annulment & secret second marriage mean Jon Snow is actually Jon Targaryen, legitimate heir to the Throne of the Seven Kingdoms. I'm in shock, and I'd wager Newsbot is, too.

As a “book purist” I was trying to remain spoiler free, but the internet and its memes and pop culture references is cruel and I pretty much know every major death that hasn’t happened in the books yet.

Is everyone satisfied with how this season is winding down the series? I’m seeing a lot of hyperbolic vitriol, both pro and con, on the internetzzz...lot of love, LOT O’ HATE.

I'm digging it. I think of this not as a season, but as a loooong finale/climax.

My biggest complaint is that people, mainly ladies, are acting in ways that don't seem to fit their established characters as the series winds down. The last episode made me sad. I can't get the ending I was hoping for, at least I don't see any way for it to resolve in that fashion. One episode to go.

So the takeaway from this entire saga is

‘Don’t put your dick in crazy.’
