Clone Wars Cartoon - Episode 11 and Beyond

most tv sucks these days, but there are some shining examples of good writing, acting, camera work, etc... we call those Deadwood and Arrested Development. Family Guy sucks ass, though...

Moderators: Batman, Zero, John Madden, Bob Ross, General Zod, Richard Simmons

Cruises the second season rather quickly.

The politics taking a larger role in the narrative pleases me. Especially the idea that there are thousands of worlds that are neutral in the war. And the Republic/Jedi side is fallible. Not that this wasn't obvious, but I'm glad it's being addressed in a "kids" show.
I like that they are showing glimpses of Anakin going dark. Him torturing Poggle and executing the Mandalorian senator.
I rather enjoyed the episode on Coruscant where Ahsoka loses her lightsaber and Master Sinobe was a cool character.
Also enjoyed the Magnificent Seven homage episode.
The first season was very choppy, but this one more enjoyable.

I still haven't seen the original Clone Wars movie yet. Maybe I'll give that a quick watch before I jump into season 3.

The movie barely held my interest. It wasn't awful, but it was emblematic of the mediocrity of the first season.

I started again from scratch. I'm doing the "chronological order" thing that someone posted (in fact it was a link to that list that motivated me to get going on watching it).

I'm nearly done most of season 2 (though I've seen 2-3 eps from season 3 and still haven't seen the final one from season 1 yet - weird ordering is weird).

The action parts have been extremely good & the stories are getting more intriguing as it moves along. All in all, better than I thought it was going to be.

For some reason (probably an overabundance of choice in viewing on Netflix and Hulu) I got sidetracked from watching this. I may have read somewhere it's leaving Netflix soon, so I decided to pick up where I left off halfway thru season 3 and finish it up. The Father/Daughter/Son stuff on Planet Metaphor is becoming a bit of a chore.

The angels? That's where I gave up for a bit. I eventually got at least started on the Dathomir/Savage Oppress stuff, but haven't watched any in a long, long time now.
