Well, it is up on Lake Tahoe, which is more like being in Colorado. It is a 7 hour drive from here. It is over 6000' above sea level, so it is higher than Denver. I lived in Colorado Springs for a few years, which is also at 6000'. The atmosphere is a bit thinner there and I actually got a sun burn on a cloudy day. When you get that kind of elevation and plus the mountains, weather can get really weird.
NBC had a tribute to Doc Emerick. I didn't know he actually does have a PhD.
