Re: What have you watched lately?

The new Apes movies are vastly underrated.

Re: MCU Topic

Reading a loot of rumors/"leaks" lately about Avengers 4, and potential BIG spoilers ahead. Avengers: Annihilation ot The Last Avenger (the latter seems to be the most likely). Also, The film starts 5 years after Infinity War. The stranded Rocket is now an Avenger (based on an ...

Re: MCU Topic

I can see them doing a Marvel Knights type show that integrates all, or most, of the characters. Like The Defenders? The main problem is 13 episodes, which is 3 too many, IMO. 10 episodes (or less, if necessary) is far better to tell a tight story without having to stretch it out or have any filler...

Re: MCU Topic

Turns out The Immortal Iron Fist is mortal, as it is the first Netflix/Marvel show to be cancelled. Unfortunate, as I've heard season 2 is pretty good. I'm still finishing Luke Cage season 2, so it's next. But Marvel was quick to say Danny Rand isn't going away, so maybe this could lead to a Heroes ...

Re: Veronica Mars

We finished our VM watch with the movie. The show really holds up well, except for a couple of dated references and tech. The girlfriend loved it, so I'm 2 for 2. Spoilers ahead. I knew the series ended with a few unresolved plots, like who won the election and what happened with the charges filed a...

Re: MCU Topic

Venom was not good. From Tom Hardy sounding like he had a disability to the "let's have every bit of CGI in darkness so we can cover the fact that it looks like CGI circa 2002" to the thin, simplistic plot, complete with an easily dispatched bad guy that is a bigger, badder version of ...

Re: Football

I really remember #54 Chris Spielman running back an interception or fumble return that gave the Lions an unlikely Thanksgiving win over either Green Bay or Minnesota when I was in university. I wanted that jersey worse than anything. Never wound up getting one. :( I'm sure you can still get one. V...

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?

As I reorganize, I've been putting all Spider-Man titles sinceI don't have a ton, despite adjective, together under S. Or all Punisher series are in chronological/release order and separated between 616 and Max. All my recent Batman titles are in one box, alphabetically. Older ones, in a seperate bo...

Walgreens around here are hit or miss. One might never get something while the store 3 miles away has new stuff.
Hell, one still has several Emperor's Wrath Vader.

Re: Hasbro's Marvel figures

Found Ben Grimm today. That mofo is huge, similar in size to the Age of Ultron Hulk.
Now that I have the entire FF (and Silver Surfer), I'm not sure if I should open them or hang onto them for a bit.

Re: MCU Topic

I've heard a lot of people say Venom is funny at times, but they aren't sure if it was intended to be funny.

And that it feels like a pre-MCU Marvel movie.
