Re: Funko Pops

We've been doing a re/watch of (the criminally underrated) Scrubs lately and the other day I commented I wished they made Scrubs Pops. And today I see on a Pops facebook page that Funko has the license, with JD, Turk, Elliot and Dr Cox planned. I'm surprised Carla or Janitor aren't there. Maybe in a...

Re: MCU Topic

And Alan Horn is a dick. He met with Gunn and is refusing to hire him back. I'm hoping Bautista continues to stand up for him and sticks to his demand to be let out of his contract if Gunn isn't rehired. I would love for the rest of the cast to do the same, but I have a feeling most of them, especia...

I refuse to drink the Honolulu Blue Koolaid.
Its all Haterade for me anymore.

The Lions and Ford family clearly don't care about winning, so why should I?

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?

I'm not reading the new Amazing Spider-Man, but I like the idea behind the first arc. It sounds like a very 70s Marvel thing to do, where (Spoilers, duh) Peter and Spider-Man are separated, because of big sciencey stuff like chemicals. It seems like it could be a fun concept to play with for a while...

Re: The 100 Greatest Songs of the Century – So Far

Although I don't like it, I think Call Me Maybe could be the best pop song since 2000.
Its sweet and catchy and will stick on your head for days and sounds like it could have been from the 80s or 90s.

Corrupted(?) pics/vids

Last night I went to a concert took a few pics and some video. When I got home I saw that there was a problem with most of them. It's just a gray screen with a ! on my phone. When I try to open them on my laptop it says: photo001.jpg It looks like we don't support this file format. or video001.mp4 W...

Re: The 100 Greatest Songs of the Century – So Far

I knew 41/100 based on just the song titles. I'd probably recognize more if I heard them.
I can't recall a single one I thought was good.

I am surprised Foo Fighters weren't on there though.

Re: What's up with the pathetic remakes of shit

Not quite a remake, bit they are making a live action, teenage Dora the Explorer movie, where she goes to high school.

Honestly, I saw the pic and though it was a porn parody.
Then I read about it and saw that the girl staring as Dora is only 17.

Re: MCU Topic

What's his other option - stand very still and be invisible?

I do appreciate him really speaking out, basically saying "I'm only doing this movie for these a-holes because I have to contractually."
It's too bad he's not RDJ and be able to throw his weight around.

Re: MCU Topic

James Gunn is still silent on the issue since his firing. His last post on IG and FB were July 17/18. He's usually pretty active, but even considering his statement of acceptance of Disney's decision, I almost expected him to post a thank you for the support. The optimist in me wonders if his silenc...

Re: MCU Topic

Although it's not MCU, the 3rd Venom trailer is out.
I didn't link it because it still looks terrible.

It includes the line, "like a turd rolling down the street in the wind."
At least I think it does, since Venom is as hard to understand as Bane.
