Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?

I just got the latest Joe: ARAH and Rom Vol. 3.

Knowing there's a definite end made me decide to get all one Hasbroverse collections I skipped. :)

Re: MCU Topic

Not sure what the point is of Hawkeye going all Ronin, then spoiling it in the trailer.

Wasn't the whole point of Ronin kinda "Hey, this new Avenger is awesome! And mysterious. Terribly mysterious--holy shit, it's really Hawkeye"?

Re: What have you watched lately?

Rebels gets better. Much, much better. I'm serious when I say I'd put it up with Rogue One, maybe higher, depending on my mood. Each season finale gets better, too, and they start out perfect. Just a word of warning: don't write off any episode as filler, no matter how unimportant it may seem at the...

Re: What have you watched lately?

Finally saw Kung Pow: Enter the Fist.

Holy fuck.

I feel that my life can be divided into two distinct parts: before watching Kung Pow and after watching Kung Pow.

That was the single dumbest film ever made, no contest. I laughed my fucking ass off for two hours straight.

Re: Daredevil (the MCU/Netflix topic)

They've said not Disney+.

Everyone is ignoring that they'll own like 200% of Hulu. I think they're moving there.

Re: So, what toys did you buy or get this week?

With cyber sales, I ordered:

Mission to Vandor-1 (already received)
Predaking
Trypticon

Found today in Target:

Optimal Optimus Primal
The three Micromaster 2-packs (really hoping those teams get finished next year)

And my convention Hoth Leia and Han shipped.

Whew! That's a load.

Re: What have you watched lately?

Ralph Breaks the Internet . It's no Wreck-It Ralph, but it's still a fun movie worth catching in theaters. Not nearly as loaded with Easter eggs, either. (Michael Giacchino appears in possibly the most subtle Easter egg ever.) Despite the marketing, Oh My Disney plays a small and short role. Which ...

Re: What have you watched lately?

Crimes of Grindelwald. Fuck the haters. This movie was the shiznit.

Not sure what's a bigger deal here: the introduction of a new member of the Dumbledore family, or the hint that Grindelwald might have been a piece of shit, but he was a piece of shit trying to avert World War II.

Re: star wars

I hope Padmé looks more like Natalie Portman and less like Daisy Ridley when the figure comes out, though. Her likeness is slightly off.

Which would be par for the course even a year ago, but they've made huge strides in facial likenesses.

Re: star wars

The likenesses are really getting good.

The battle-damaged Phasma, I feel like a tiny Gwendoline Christie is staring at me.

I'm really digging the detail on the last few waves of The Black Series.

Re: Quote of the day

Some random dude on Facebook responded to a Funko contest with gibberish, and this sentence just about made me piss myself.

Hahaha that's not a bad picture but it's not your Grandma that is America."

Re: R.I.P. and Thanks for Everything

The co-creator of my namesake has passed. No details yet that I've seen, but I assume related to the stroke he suffered in 2014.

RIP, Norm Breyfogle.
