Re: How I realized I was over Star Wars completely

I understand the Jabba mission is only on the mack daddy edition.

Y'know, the only reason anyone is interested in the game.

Re: How I realized I was over Star Wars completely

It occurs to me that Star Wars is in almost the exact place it was 25-30 years ago. There's roughly the same amount of material being released, and it's roughly the same percent awesome and utter shit as it was. Difference is, a much higher percentage of the material is onscreen, so more people see ...

Re: So what the hell else happened to me?

I'd like a sequel to One More Day where everything is restored to that point, but everyone gets to kick Mephisto in the nuts once or twice, and Mephisto looks like Joe Quesada. Also everyone who smoked, especially Ben Grimm, puts their cigars out on his balls. Oh, and un-revive Aunt May. She had one...

Yeah, it was definitely intended to be the solo book. Claremont in his prime was a god, but he's now been a hack longer than he's been divine.

Though thirty lashes with a wet adamantium noodle for calling the eyepatch "stupid." It was awesome. Everyone around him was stupid.

Damn. Some of his stuff is incredible, and some? It'd be insulting to dog shit to call it dog shit. He might be the most inconsistent writer in the biz.

Okay, I have to ask: does it explain how Alfred is a billionaire? I'm assuming it had to be after the Waynes were murdered, or even he would've retired.

Ditto.

Though the phrase was used so many times here, I wonder if they're spoofing it.

Open letter to all stores that get rid of self checkout

Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you. No, really, fuck you. I hope you die. Scratch that. I hope you get elephantiasis in your dick so it swells to massive size and closes itself off. Then I hope you get a kidney disorder that makes you constantly have to piss, but this ruptures the end of your mutated dick...

Re: Transformers Movie - Live Action

Double post. Fuck Grimlock.

They fucking say "ass" in the first few seconds. Who the fuck is this movie for? I'd guess 8-year-olds, but you don't swear in the trailer for a kids' movie!

Re: Transformers Movie - Live Action

I don't get it. We've had extremely dark Transformers stories. They're not off limits. Some fucking bean counter can't grasp that it's not that dorky adults want that because we're in a state of arrested development and want the same shit we grew up with, only EXTREEEEEM!!!1! No, this particular sto...

Re: Transformers Movie - Live Action

The trailer for Transformers One just dropped.

I'm not linking it. I don't want vynnie to get in trouble for having it on his site now that abortion is illegal in many states.

Watching it made me long for the edgy gravitas of Rescue Bots.

Re: X-Men '97

For real, there's no need to watch the original. The new one gives all the background you'd need. My wife had seen the movies and the Evolution cartoon, my son knows characters from the Marvel Snap game, and my daughter, damn, I failed, she didn't even recognize the cameo at the end of The Marvels t...

X-Men '97

This show is fucking amazing. It's like Marvel's answer to Batman: The Animated Series, that they never quite pulled off in the 90s. It's everything that was great about the comics from Giant Size #1 through the Morrison run, all mixed up and made fresh, without pulling any punches. (Hell, sometimes...

Re: Three Random Thoughts (aka Randolph Mantooth!)

I remember the coverage in Wizard and other geek culture magazines when John Kricfalusi was fired from Ren & Stimpy, going on about how unfair it was to John K, and they were particularly harsh on Billy West for taking over as Ren's voice since he was utterly talentless. That was amazingly presc...

Re: What have you watched lately?

Wish. My daughter turned this on when she saw it on Disney+. She couldn't keep with it, and said it was like a bad Disney Jr show. From what little I saw, it looked like a straight-to-DVD knockoff in the Walmart bargain bin. Top Secret. Please, for the love of God, tell me that was your 600th re-wa...
