Tom Foolery wrote:Honestly, the only thing I remember about ANY of LXG is Mr Hyde buttfucking the Invisible Man to death.

It stands alone in terms of memorable comic book deaths, that's for sure.

Re: How I realized I was over Star Wars completely

Characters were good, but the movie was too convenient for my tastes. No sense in leaving any mysteries I guess.

This week's Mando felt like it the story was going backwards, but ended off with some very significant revelations about the role of the child in the Imperial experiments.

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?

So, regarding LXG, Moore is having these published through TOP SHELF these days and only counts volumes 1 & 2 in with the main continuity. Black Dossier was published originally during his struggle with DC if I read it right so it's not even recognized (and honestly, it's pretty bad compared to ...

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?

Ok I actually went today & I'm eagerly anticipating finding out if I bought some issues.... I already bought last time! That's what tends to happen when you don't go for a few weeks.... Marauders 14 & 15 (new) X-Men 14 (new) Giant Size Fantomex 1 (unsure) Giant Size Storm 1 (known duplicate ...

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?

I bought the first 2 or 3 issues of Catwoman and then nothing until the 80 page giant (because Tom King was named as a contributor). Still no Batman & Catwoman limited series yet?

Re: So, what toys did you buy or get this week?

JTA says Luke is a repack, but it's a repack from the recent 3 Luke pack from last year. Supposedly the best Jedi Luke to date. Looks awesome in the package so I'll keep the figure & decide which version of the cardback I'll recycle.

Re: So, what toys did you buy or get this week?

TVC Chirrut, Jedi Luke (updated I believe) and Hondo.

I am having trouble finding comparison shots like Rebelscum used to provide for new iterations of previously made characters - are Jedi Luke and Chirrut "all new", or are they repacks/repaints?

Re: How I realized I was over Star Wars completely

I think it has to be Boba Fett as well. Whether or not he was tracking his own armor or using it for bait to find the Mandalorian & the Child (he'd still be after them, big bounty & whatnot) we'll have to wait & see.

I wish Ming Na Wen had been in that final shot too. Hoping we see her back soon.

Re: How I realized I was over Star Wars completely

I thought space Jaws was a little silly, but no more so than the Jawas & egg yolk last season. It was fun. I love Timothy Olyphant's one character that he plays & it was nice to see that character with a new name in the Star Wars universe. The ending was badass, unless I'm assuming the wrong...
