Re: Who watches the Watchmen?
FINALLY got a chance to see Watchmen today. Fucking awesome! I really don't know what the haters are bitching about, aside from the usual bitching just to hear themselves bitch. The cast was all really good, especially Rorschach. I heard this guy on the radio, mighta been NPR. He was in movies I lo...

Re: Who watches the Watchmen?
Okay, I finally saw it, and I actually liked it more than the comic. I just really didn't like the alien monster in the comic, and I wasn't a fan of Tales of the Black Freighter. Also, I would have never thought they could have gotten so much of the comic into the movie, I think they did a great job...

Re: Alan Moore
Okay, finished. That was pretty cool. I thought the ending was a bit silly, with the alien and all. I've heard about the movie ending, and it seems better to me. The book's just felt kinda tacked on, as if to say, "well, we gotta wrap this up, somehow." Still, I liked it. I definitely want...

Re: If you ran Hollywood, what movies would you make?
I think the life of Hannibal would make a good movie. Or maybe a series like "Rome", although it sees that was not so popular.
No A-Team jokes, although I assure you that movie is in the pipeline.

Re: Alan Moore
I'm thinking about getting Watchmen and reading it before seeing the film. I never read it. I've always heard that it is good. That'll be the first "comic" I've purchased in about 15 years.

Re: star wars
Up until the ANH wave, I haven't been excited for an entire wave in a long time. Last figures I bought were Bane and Yarna, so I'm antsy to get the ANH stuff, but it isn't here, just a bunch of clone wars and I assume EU stuff still.

Wow, I haven't thought of that micronauts cruiser in forever. I never knew what it was as a kid.

Re: I know there's a housing crisis, but FUCK
I avoided buying a house. I don't know much about real estate, but it seemed to me the boom was caused by the historically low interest rates and people taking out 50 year mortgages. People don't look at price, only the monthly payment. All I know about interest rates is that they had nowhere to go ...

A TMNT t-stamp. The horror. The last thing I want to think about whilst blowing my hot load all over some girl's back is Master Splinter.

Re: What have you watched lately?
I hate the Breakfast Club. It's like being in detention. It was really popular amongst the kids back in its day, but take away the bratpack, and nobody would have sat through it, I'm convinced!

Re: star wars
I'm cool with only a handful of cool OT figures a year, since nearly everybody has been done. That's really all we got during the POTF2 days, and I was fine with it then. Those new figures look pretty dumb, and I have no desire to see Clone Wars.

I don't get Wilco
I have friends that love Wilco, the critics love Wilco, and everybody loves that they stuck it to the label with Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, but their music bores the crap out of me. Am I the only person who cannot stand Wilco?

Re: star wars
I have to thank Hasbro for being kind enough to reissue C3PO with the articulated knees, so's I can put him in the Falcon. That aside, it really is a great version of the character, and I don't see ever needing another. The only two other 3po figures I had ever opened were both POTF2 versions- Orang...
